2. The new Malem Ultimate Choice Bedside alarm (an alternative
to using a bodyworn alarm - with an optional extension lead to
connect to parents or carers).
3. The improved Malem Wireless alarm (which connects without wires
to parent or carer or/and with an optional vibration init eg for
deaf
children).
4. The new speaking enuresis unit alarm - which allows the user
to record an instruction for their child/client/patient.
5. The new sensor for movement and not wetness - to detect a move
from the lying to the sitting position to alert parents or carers
to impending sleep walking or toilet visiting; used with the wireless
link to nurse or
carer this device offers the potential to detect impending movement
in the older person with dementia and in other situations.
6. An improved Malem Queen's Square vibrator is more robust and
requires less strength to operate. There are reports of the Queen's
Square Vibrator being useful in a range of acute and chronic bowel
and bladder dysfunctions, in addition to replacing intermittent
catheterisation for some who previously would have needed repeated
catheterisation.
